1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how RJLabs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in the Android application Daymark: Daily Tasks and Todos ("Daymark" or the "App") and on this website.
Privacy contact: rjlabs.developer@gmail.com.
2. Information Daymark stores on your device
Daymark stores the information needed for habit tracking locally on your Android device:
- habit names, optional notes, icons, colors, goals, schedules, and time-of-day choices;
- completion progress and local calendar dates;
- optional reminder times; and
- theme, haptic, calendar, and onboarding preferences.
RJLabs does not receive this habit content. Daymark does not require an account, and its core habit features work without an internet connection.
3. Information collected through analytics
Daymark uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand whether the App is working well and which general features are useful. The service may automatically process an app-instance identifier, app version, device and operating-system information, language, session information, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, and basic lifecycle events such as first open or app update.
Daymark also sends coarse product events such as selecting a tab, finishing onboarding, opening or saving the habit editor, completing or removing a completion, archiving or deleting a habit, changing a theme, and erasing local data. Parameters are limited to general categories such as goal type, editor mode, scheduled-day count, or whether a reminder exists.
Analytics never includes habit names, notes, units, internal habit IDs, progress values, reminder times, or calendar dates. Daymark does not set a user ID and does not link analytics to a Daymark account because no Daymark account exists.
Advertising ID collection is disabled in the App manifest, the Advertising ID permission is removed, and ad-personalization signals are disabled. Daymark contains no advertising.
4. Information you send through feedback
If you choose Send feedback in Settings, Daymark uploads the following to Google Cloud Firestore:
- the category you select: feedback, issue, or feature request;
- the message you write and the email address you provide;
- Daymark's app version and version code;
- Android version, device manufacturer and model, and device-language locale; and
- the server time when the submission is received.
We use this only to review your request, troubleshoot issues, improve Daymark, and contact you when a response or clarification is helpful. Habit content is never attached. Firestore client rules permit validated submissions but deny client reads, updates, and deletes.
5. Android backup and device transfer
If Android backup or device transfer is enabled by you or your device administrator, Android may securely copy Daymark's local database and preferences to the backup service configured on your device. RJLabs does not control that service. You can manage backup behavior through Android and your backup-provider settings.
6. Notification permission
Daymark requests notification permission only after you enable a habit reminder. Reminders are scheduled locally using Android WorkManager. You may decline or revoke the permission without losing habit-tracking features. Daymark does not collect notification content.
7. How information is used and shared
| Information | Purpose | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Local habit content | Provide habit tracking, progress, reminders, and preferences | Your device and any Android backup provider you enable |
| Analytics data | Measure reliability, understand feature adoption, and improve Daymark | RJLabs and Google Analytics for Firebase |
| Feedback submission | Respond to support, investigate issues, and plan improvements | RJLabs and Google Cloud Firestore |
We do not sell personal information. We do not share habit content. Information may be processed by Google as our service provider under its applicable Firebase, Google Cloud, Analytics, security, and privacy terms. We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, prevent abuse, or defend legal rights.

8. Retention and deletion
Habit content
Local habit content remains until you delete individual habits, use Erase all Daymark data in Settings, clear the App's storage, or uninstall Daymark, subject to copies maintained by an Android backup service you enabled.
Feedback
Feedback is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, investigate, improve the App, and maintain appropriate support records. We ordinarily delete identifiable feedback within 24 months after the request is resolved unless a longer period is required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. You may request earlier deletion from the same email address used in the submission.
Analytics
Analytics information is retained under the retention controls configured for our Google Analytics property and Google's applicable policies. We keep identifiable user-level analytics only as long as needed for the purposes described above; aggregate reports may no longer identify an individual app installation. Because Daymark analytics is not linked to an account or feedback email, we may be unable to match an analytics record to you without an appropriate app-instance identifier.
9. Security
Network information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Firebase access is restricted through project permissions and Firestore Security Rules. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved.
10. International processing
Google's Firebase and Analytics infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, service providers use contractual and legal mechanisms for cross-border processing. By using connected Daymark features, your information may be handled in those locations subject to applicable law.
11. Children's privacy
Daymark is a general-audience productivity application and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information through feedback, contact us so we can delete it.
12. Your choices and requests
- Do not submit feedback if you do not want to provide an email address or troubleshooting details.
- Manage notification and backup settings through Android.
- Delete local data from Daymark Settings, Android's App info screen, or by uninstalling the App.
- Email rjlabs.developer@gmail.com to request access to or deletion of feedback you submitted. We may ask you to verify the email used in that submission.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide additional rights. Contact us to exercise a request; we will respond as required by applicable law.
13. This website
This informational website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. We do not place advertising or analytics scripts on the website. Like most hosting services, Firebase Hosting may process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
14. Policy changes
We may update this policy when Daymark's features or legal obligations change. The current version will remain available at this URL with a revised effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app or store-listing notice where required.
